Standard: DIN338 ( replaces PN 2907 / PN2907 )
Usage:
Stand and column drills, NC and CNC machines, possibly even hand drills.
Structural steel
Unalloyed and alloyed steel, cast steel with strength up to 850N/mm2
Stainless steel
Wrought aluminum alloys and other aluminum alloys
Advantages:
Higher geometry / hole ovality - depending on the machine used, accuracy up to IT9 can be achieved.
Thanks to three blades, the feed can be increased by up to 60%.
The special geometry of the tip of the drill prevents the drill from slipping. Thanks to this, there is no need to use a punch to center the holes.
The drill does not jam when re-drilling an existing hole.
The chip is removed without a problem, less wear on the drill bit / longer service life, thanks to the distribution of the engagement on 3 blades.
