Universal rolling head / tool for repairing external threads
Scope of work: according to the selected variant
Rolls are purchased separately - see related products (metric right, left, UNC, UNF, BSW, BSF),
To repair the thread, it is enough to put rolls with the corresponding pitch of the thread into the head, put the head on the undamaged part of the thread, tighten the movable roll to the thread and by turning the whole head over the damaged thread (several times as needed + lubricate!) you will repair the thread.
Due to cold rolling, the resulting thread is of high quality, smooth and has a higher resistance limit than a new thread.
This method is safer than using threaded files or threaded eyes - it does not remove any material, on the contrary, cold compaction makes the thread of the same quality as before damage.
