Built-in sensor checks the attachment of the magnetic drill to the base, in case of release it shuts down the motor.Red light indicates insufficient attachment - ie rusty pedestal, clips, insufficient the new force of the base(below 6 mm), it may light up at too high a feed.
The green light indicates that the magnetic force is sufficient, the base is firmly attached to the base and the drill can be used safely.
