IC5005 series:
Hard substrate with multilayer MTCVD TiCN coating and thick layer of Al2O3 coating with post-coating surface treatment. It is mainly used for machining nodular cast iron( and other cast irons) at medium to high cutting speeds at stable or slightly unstable conditions. It is also used with a higher requirement for wear resistance compared to IC5010 carbide or other grades.
Usage:
Steel: P05-P15
Cast iron: K05-K20
Hardened steel: H15-H25
