HRC55 Series:
Fine-grained 70% CBN granulate with ceramic binder, high rigidity and impact resistance. Suitable for roughing hardened steels 45-65 HRC, cast iron and very hard alloys such as Inconel, surface hardened steels, etc. Suitable for intermittent cutting.
Application:
Cast iron: K05-K15
Carbide and hardened steels: H10-H25(45-65 HRC)
Cutting conditions(CBN):
Hardened steel: Vc = 80-240m / min; fn = 0.12-0.25mm / rev. ; Ap = 0,5-2,5mm
Ductile iron: Vc = 60-150m / min; fn = 0.20-0.30mm / rev. ; Ap = 0.6-2.5mm
Gray cast iron: Vc = 500-1500m / min; fn = 0.50-0.80mm / rev. ; Ap = 0.25-1.0mm
Hard alloys with Co> 17%: Vc = 20-40m / min; fn = 0.20-0.30mm / rev. ; Ap = 0.1-0.5mm
Manganese steels: Vc = 140-200m / min; fn = 0.3-0.7mm / rev. ; Ap = 0,2-2,9mm
