T8430 is suitable for a variety of materials, including steels, stainless steels, cast irons and non-ferrous metals.
Unique TiBN top coat( titanium and boron nitride) reduces the risk of edge build-up and improves performance, while the thick TiN layer features low compressive stress for high resistance to cutting edge breakage.
In addition, the hard AlTiN layer of T8430 material ensures resistance to back wear and the bright gold TiN layer supports wear detection.
