Coating: BLUE-TEC, increases the life of the countersink when cutting with very limited cooling (spray, paste), as well as when cutting dry
Material: carbide (diameter 10.4 all carbide design, 12.4-31mm carbide head with brazed tool steel shank)

Warning - carbide / carbide countersinks should only be used on NC/CNC machines.

Properties :
Excellent chip evacuation, the edge does not chip, the resulting surface is scratch-free, excellent tool-hole centering
The countersink grooves are ground with a fine diamond wheel, making the edge sharper and smoother compared to conventional countersinks where the grooves are milled.
The cutting edge is always the highest point of the diameter, i.e. when countersinking, the material does not rub against the wall of the countersink, which reduces the necessary cutting force and also reduces the generated heat -> which increases the service life of the countersink.
